Calling Baton Rouge

Whew, Monday again? It feels like I've had no break at all. The hubs has been on the road all weekend with football games, and then this morning (at 3:00! am!) he left for Baton Rouge, LA and Tyler, TX - all within 48 hours. He has to go for work (found out Friday at lunch). I have parent-teacher conference tonight, which makes for a l-o-n-g day.

I'm coming right along with my basic garter-stitch scarf. (I'll post a pic soon.) I frogged my first attempt (I was making it in the stockinette stitch, but I didn't like it), and started over yesterday. I find myself just itching to knit. I can't wait to pick it up again every day. But, you see, I am very impatient. I want to be finished so I can start something else, just as I am beginning what I was starting in the first place. Does that make sense? Well, humor me please. Today is not the day to tell me I'm not making sense. Ya'll have a good one...

Love the new look, Charla! :)
Oh drag! Parent nights are always the longest. And the day after is a drag too. But it is fun to see the students w/ parents though! Hope your night isn't too long!

You know what, I think a lot of people who knit like to do multiple projects. It seems to be a pretty common thing (at least, on the knit blogs I read). I find doing a few normal projects with a few quick-knit projects keeps me satiated. Can't wait to see your scarf!
